Following on from my earlier post about the recent positive developments by the @meta-pool-official.near project I'd like to expand some more on the decision to allocate ALL of the staking rewards back to the community. 50% back to token holders who participate in governance by actively voting on proposals 50% for community representative initiatives proposals that promote one of the following: - TVL generation - Community Education on Blockchain - Brand awareness - Community onboarding to Meta Pool products This is a really significant statement by the project to decentralise the treasury and give the power of the DAO to the community. As an ambassador for Western Europe I am eager to hear from any Near community or hub in the region that would be interested in putting forward a proposal for funding for an event that would align with one of the above metrics. This is a very exciting time for the project and the wider Near community to put on some cool events as we move in to the summer season.
