This is what I did in my fifth week of the internship: - After receiving some advice from Chloe who told me that I didn't have to understand every single aspect of the smart contract but to at least try to get some practice with them, I decided to take it to heart and after working on the smart contract a bit more and installing the necessary packages I tried to deploy my contract onto the near blockchain ( I hope I said that right), but I ran into a bunch of errors and got hit with a lot of error messages. I still haven't finished finding the problem but it is something I plan to work on still, I went to my colleague Dionte and he gave me some advice and resources which he used in his development of smart contracts so I will be looking into that. - I also did some practice on Rust by examples to keep my rust skills sharp. - I did some research on what it takes to build and deploy a game onto the NEAR blockchain because I was curious on how it works since Marmaj gaming has their own game on the blockchain. I am sorry that these last two posts are a bit short but I am still under the weather and just wanted to get these out of the way, I should be going and getting some tests done tomorrow at a lab to hopefully find out what has been happening with me lately.
