We are focused on building support systems to retain open web developers. This not only helps to create sustainable infrastructure, but also creates opportunities for members to get hired by NEAR Builders Cooperative (GitHub) and earn retroactive public goods funding via PotLock. Objectives We aim to drive sustainable development (17 goals, 169 targets) by rewarding valuable contributions, improving the open web stack, and ultimately, turning engagement into adoption. Dawn is focused on supporting builders in major cities of North America, while others cultivate open web communities elsewhere. Strategy ~ frame this effort in terms of civic innovation → solve real problems for citizens Goal: we will create a product for anyone to use in their community. The name of the game is onboarding developers, i.e. building connections and facilitating collaboration.
