The ideal contributor is someone with a strong understanding of Web3 brand identity, communication strategy, and public relations. As a DevHub Communication leader, you will plan, communicate, execute, and manage various marketing tasks. ### Commitment We expect the paid contributor to commit 30-40 hours per week based on their availability. We’re looking for self-starters who can take initiative, work independently, disambiguate needs, and communicate effectively. ### Key Responsibilities * Developing Brand Identity: Lead in shaping the brand identity of DevRel and NearCampus. * Developing Communications Guidelines: Craft comprehensive handbooks and guidelines to streamline internal and external communications. * Lead Marketing and Communication Efforts: Oversee marketing and communication activities for DevRel & NearCampus. Collaborate with other departments to identify the most effective communication channels and strategize marketing and advertising activities. * Marketing Campaigns and Materials: Support Sasha in developing marketing materials consistent with DevHub’s brand identities. * Supervising Marketing and Social Media Contributors: Guide marketing and social media contributors, ensuring alignment with the company's brand standards. * Executing Various Marketing Tasks: Handle a range of marketing and promotional tasks, including content creation, marketing campaign development, and event promotion. * Event Planning and Coordination: Assist event planning efforts according to marketing objectives and brand identity. * PR Strategy and Content Creation: Recognize PR needs and produce content for various communication channels, including press releases, videos, and social media posts. * Developing Social Media Strategies: Formulate social media strategies for DevRel and NearCampus that align with overall marketing and promotional goals, including posting schedules and profile aesthetics. * Staying Informed About Industry Trends: Continuously monitor industry trends, customer feedback, and other vital data to make informed decisions about the company's brand awareness and target audiences. ### Requirements #### How to become a contributor Interested individuals should first familiarize themselves with DevHub. Then, review the requirements above and ensure you have the skills and experience necessary to contribute. This is a chance for us to meet, discuss your interests and how you can contribute, and answer any questions you have. 3) **Approval:** If we agree to move forward, we’ll ask you to create a solution post on DevHub outlining your proposed scope of work for two weeks, including the deliverables, timeline, and compensation amount in USDC. Upon acceptance, DevDAO will reply with a formal sponsorship (fast grant) to approve the funding, and work can begin. Please note funding is contingent on you passing our KYC. * Submit an idea proposal that outlines your enthusiasm for developer engagement and your background in Web3 and Marketing and communications. You must post it as a reply to this post. * After your proposal has been posted, our core team will review it and may reach out for further conversations with team members. * Upon approval, you'll have the opportunity to start contributing right away. We will also invite you to our Telegram group with all other previous contributors, where you can ask questions and share resources. We want to create visibility on our progress, so we will ask each contributor to submit a report on DevHub every two weeks with their completed work. We will also use this report for processing the funding.
