Metaverse CHOUKAIGI" is the latest event in the series, an update of the "Student Web3&Metaverse CHOUKAIGI". Participants will share new technical concepts on blockchain in the field of Web3 while deepening industry interaction. The main theme of the event is to create an opportunity to discover new breakthroughs by merging and colliding Web3, Metaverse, and AI technologies. In the past, the event was led by WeCreate3, Japan's largest Web3 student organization, to promote Web3 literacy mainly among students, with the aim of expanding awareness of Web3 and creating possibilities on the part of students across Japan. This time, however, the event is not limited to students, but invites Web3, AI, and Metaverse projects that are gaining momentum in Japan and abroad to share the “NOW" of the ever-changing AI and blockchain industry and to raise the awareness of society as a whole. Objectives: To help NEAR to get connections with local communities or companies in Japan. Enhancing the visibility of NEAR in Japan. Collaboration with WeCreate3 can help NEAR to get a positive brand image in Japan. To set up a connection with college students here. Enabled first contact point to the Japanese web3 ecosystem so NEAR Devhub initiatives (Devrels, NEAR Campus, and Hackbox) can start directly engaging local developers and builders. Who we are/About the team: WeCreate3 is right now the most prominent student Web3 community in Japan. Our community has 15 college Web3 clubs, and our members are from all over Japan. We have held many offline and online events here, and the goal of our community is to provide a place where students from all over Japan can take the initiative to expand awareness of Web3 & Metaverse and create possibilities from the student side.
