@infinity.near [Posted on Developer DAO Board](https://near.social/#/devgovgigs.near/widget/Post?id=352) ## Idea: A Borderless Community `This post invites contributors to apply for a leadership role in the NFT ecosystem of NEAR.` Last year, I joined the Aurobot Builders Collective, which involves holders of a specific NFT collection who support each other and learn together. Our main goal is community development, and we like to have fun! This group has coordinated various opportunities and shared many helpful ideas. > 🤖 Check the [ABC DAO Twitter](https://twitter.com/aurobotsrollout) for examples of Aurobots rolling out! Following successful experiments with on-chain processes for collaboration, we are **asking representatives from *other NFT communities* to join a council** that would have specific responsibilities to the overall NEAR community. We are introducing a formal structure to define a clear membership with leadership roles. This group will be committed to development of lively communities NFT creators and users on NEAR. ### OBJECTIVES The main goal is coordinating to support NFT projects by distributing resources across initiatives in order to boost activity and convert new users. - Oversee accountability measures for NFT community programs - Conduct research to inform development of NFT products - Produce useful educational resources about NFT platforms We are bringing communities together, learning from each other, and solving problems. The purpose of this group is turning ideas into implementations, and ultimately, driving adoption of NFTs on NEAR. ##### Initial Council Members: @aurobot99.near ~ @aurobotsrollout.near @bennyblanco.near ~ @elcafecartel.near @tedlasso.near ~ @mrbrownproject.near @infinity.near *All are welcome to reply here for consideration. You are not required to have an Aurobot NFT.* ### REQUIREMENTS Members would volunteer a few hours per week to participate in group activities. ##### Expectations: * Proactively assessing proposals and providing attestations via the Gigs Board * Disclose any conflict of interests * Responsibly recommending projects for grants and holding project leaders accountable * Participating in discussions + decision-making processes * Communicating clearly and promptly with other members and the community * Playing nicely with others and using a respectful and professional tone in all interactions ### HOW TO APPLY If you are interested in joining a borderless community council, reply to this post before 🗓️ Saturday, April 1.
