@theori.near [Posted on Developer DAO Board](https://near.social/#/devgovgigs.near/widget/Post?id=416) ## Idea: Tools Community This space brings together individuals, experts, and organizations who are interested in supporting the ongoing innovation of tooling on NEAR. ## Our Groups The NEAR tools community consists of two main groups: ### Working Group This formal group is a selected committee of subject matter experts who make official decisions on proposals and questions related to the NEAR dApp standards. They follow a strict process to review proposals, recommend funding to DAO or grant programs, and hold grant takers accountable. They engage with the broader community to understand their needs and encourage ideation. **Members** - [Bo Yao](https://github.com/ailisp) - [David Millar-Durrant](https://github.com/DavidM-D) - [Serhii Volovyk](https://github.com/volovyks) ### Community Group This informal self-organized group provides a space for anyone interested in the NEAR tooling. While this group does not make official decisions, it offers a great opportunity to meet with others to share ideas and submit proposals. This group is not controlled by anyone but the people who are organizing it. The group has a dedicated Telegram channel. **Communication Channels** - [Tools Community Group in Telegram](https://t.me/NEAR_Tools_Community_Group) ## How to get involved - Join the the community group's dedicated [Telegram channel](https://t.me/nearnft) to learn about the latest discussions and activities.
