@efiz.near [Posted on Developer DAO Board](https://near.social/#/devgovgigs.near/widget/Post?id=511) ## Solution: No-Code Widget Generation with Teleport HQ ### Overview [TeleportHQ](https://teleporthq.io/) is a versatile front-end platform that offers a collaborative environment with integrated UI development and content modeling tools. As a powerful visual builder, it enables users to design front-ends and generate code through various code generators, leveraging Teleport's open-source code generator libraries. The goal of this proposal is to extend Teleport's [open-source code generator library](https://github.com/teleporthq/teleport-code-generators) to support the generation of Social React JSX and facilitate widget deployment to BOS directly from the platform. This enhancement will lower barriers of entry, encouraging a wider community of developers, designers, and users to engage with the NEAR ecosystem. Considering Teleport's existing product capabilities, implementing the Widget code generator will enable users to streamline their deployment to BOS and maximize the platform's potential. ### Project Details #### Goals 1. Develop a no-code widget builder compatible with NEAR BOS expanding on Teleport HQ’s open source code generator library. 2. Enable users to create custom widgets without any programming knowledge. 3. Facilitate seamless integration with existing and future projects built on BOS, such as **[everything.dev](https://everything.dev/)**, **[page builder](https://near.org/efiz.near/widget/PageBuilder)**, and Kiew's Web2 to Web3 connector, to ensure continuous utilization and improvement of the tool. The goals expressed in more detail: [NEAR Social No-Code Website Builder Idea](https://near.social/#/devgovgigs.near/widget/gigs-board.pages.Post?id=437). #### Scope Current Scope: 1. Widget (Component) generator with access to BOS APIs like State, Social, and Near. 2. NEAR account integration with the Teleport HQ platform to allow direct deploy. 3. User-friendly interface and comprehensive documentation for users. Future Scope: 1. Full project (dApp) generation 2. Widget generation via Natural Language Processing 3. Integration with other leading no-code platforms #### Deliverables 1. Custom Social React generator and plugins added to TeleportHQ’s open source component generator library 2. NEAR Account integration with TeleportHQ platform for direct deploy. 3. Comprehensive documentation and tutorials 1. How to design a component on TeleportHQ, export to React Social, then copy and paste to favorite BOS editor. 2. How to design a component on TeleportHQ and publish direct to BOS from platform. #### User flow #### Project Plan / Timeline This project will be completed within one month. The timeline is as follows: - Week 1: Simple UIDL to Widget converter. The steps and motivation for completing this can be found [here](https://ambitious-spike-28a.notion.site/UIDL-Widget-Converter-72ba9b2a1e454a779a93d2605a24f92c) - Week 2-3: Building the plugin to expand the TeleportHQ open source code generator libraries - Week 3-4: Account and plugin integration with TeleportHQ platform - Week 4: Any remaining documentation, final testing, and integration with projects like [everything.dev](https://everything.dev), [page builder](https://near.org/efiz.near/widget/PageBuilder), and [hacker guides](https://near.social/#/mob.near/widget/MyPage?accountId=hack.near) Weekly updates on the project will be provided to the [dev social feed](https://near.social/#/devs.near/widget/Dev.Social) #### Resources: **TeleportHQ** will be providing support, consultation, and any technical help integrating with the platform.
