By NEAR studio. Overview of the project Brand creation: Establishing the brand personality and archetype. Define the core values, goals, mission and vision statements. Brand visuals: Create a logo, and colour palette, establish typography, graphic elements, illustration or imagery style, and a brand book. Create templates for social media, website look and feel, comms, photo treatment, video & animation treatment. Swag ideas. Developer Badges: Develop concept and visual styles. Create narrative and distribution strategy (together with NEARWEEK). Awareness Campaign - Draw attention to the redesign, and the community process that it took, and create CTAs for members of the Near Community and beyond to discover and find resources and navigate the project. 3 Part Process: Stage 1 - Community sourcing the visual identity ideation Mini awareness campaign of the merging of https://www.neardevgov.org/ and http://neardevhub.org/. and announcing the consequential rebrand of DevHub. Calling out to the dev and broader NEAR community to participate in the process. (Make your voice heard, we want to build a brand for you, created by you). We will explain how to participate and how to get involved. Process: Step 1. Brand discovery: At this stage we aimed to discover the people’s take on what is our Primary and Secondary target, what our Personality Traits as a brand would be and the feelings the brand should evoke. Step 2. Mood Board: We will create an open inspirational style guide board generated by the initial findings of the previous step. This board will be open for people to rate, add and comment on images that will determine the general look and feel of the brand. Final call to participate on the boards before it closes. Publishing of the findings and requesting final feedback. Stage 2 - Producing the 3 proposals and putting them out to a vote Step 1. We will analyse all the data collected to create and present 3 polished visual style options that will fit the objectives determined above. Each proposal will consist of: Logo, colour palette, graphic brand supported elements like iconography and vector graphics, typography, photo treatment, illustration style, website mockup, social media templates, content layout and swag. Step 2. Mini campaign to promote the participation to vote on their favourite and a reminder of the process involved in the development of the proposals. Setting up voting through a poll on Social NEAR and distributing (together with NEARWEEK) Stage 3 - Brand Delivery Campaign to announce the brand winner, thanking everyone for their participation. Deliver the brand packages which include a brand book with a style guide for content and visual guides After the brand has been implemented and reflected on the site http://neardevhub.org/. We will run an awareness campaign celebrating the new brand and encouraging people to visit the site. Badge Creation The process for determining the style of the badges will be a simplified version of the brand ideation where we will create a mood board and invite the community to add inspirational images of the visual style they would like to see being used. Deliveries To recap the deliveries will be Content calendar for all the 3 stage campaigns 2 board creations on Miro Written analysis of the brand discovery findings 3 full brand proposals Final Brand package: brand book and all working editable files, colour pallet, visual elements and templates exported in high and medium definition. Photo (including PNG layer to add on top of images), video treatment assets (including Transitions, Lens Flares, Lower Thirds, and Accent Graphics) and a 10-second animation style and promotion of the brand. Written descriptions of the reasoning behind the ideas and the element and how they support the ideas created by the people. Write and deliver the core values, goals, mission and vision statements. Write and deliver the messaging strategy, along with a style guide, and overview of what type of content could be valuable for the team to produce. Work with NEARWEEK on asset creation to assist with awareness campaign including copy assistance, slogan and messaging. 5 badges cards. Timeline and pricing: The development of this collaborative rebrand and the awareness campaigns interrelated to it will take about a full month of work for both the creative director and the content director. 28 Days x 2 (full-time creatives) USD 700 Day Rate = USD 39200
