We organize multiple programs and events to enable the community to easily learn about the NEAR ecosystem, get updated, and build on NEAR. **About NEARAPAC event** NEARAPAC is the official event of NEAR Foundation and is positioned as the premier blockchain conference in the APAC region. Through a series of insightful events running from June to September and the main conference on September 8-12, NEARAPAC brings together 100+ global blockchain leaders to discuss the unlimited future of blockchain through discovering latest blockchain technology updates, development trends, and how blockchain ecosystems drive web3 mass adoption. With 8000+ participants including global crypto leaders, multi-chain ecosystem builders, web2 and web3 enterprises, VCs, universities, global media outlets, exchanges, investors and blockchain enthusiast, NEARAPAC is a good opportunity for everyone to not only gain insights into the Web3 space but also expand your connections and understanding about the local industry of APAC region, with a special focus on Vietnam, the country ranked #1 in the global crypto adoption index. **About Web3 Hackathon Festival (Hackfest) and its impact** Hackfest 2023 with the theme "Unlimited Hacker" is a large hackathon festival for Web2 and Web3 startup builders, developers, and creators. BOS and decentralized front-end are key concepts to be introduced and promoted for multi-chain builders in Hackfest 2023 as a blockchain operating system for all. Hackfest 2023 is organized with a series of NEAR developer and BOS bootcamps, uni tour with different universities, multichain developer bootcamp with sizable hackathons in which front-end of multichain projects should be built with BOS and hosted on NEAR. The series of activities will last from June to September. Hackfest will increase the impact of NEAR in APAC and promote NEAR BOS to APAC developers, builders, and creators. Hackfest 2023 will have 18+ prizes under 6 prize categories including native track, problem solving, frontend BOS and UX prize, Developer and BOS tools, student track, and creative ideas. **Evaluation Factors** Generally the following factors are used to evaluate hackathon projects. **Team:** strong technical with right mix of experience and skills in the product niche (dev, security, design, management & financial, niche market experience,...); passionate about their product and have a good track record in the niche **The market:** the target market of the startup is big enough and growing; the competitiveness of the market is appropriate to make the startup a feasible business **The product and ideas:** the product and its ideas are innovative with significant USPs to compete in the market, and useful with great design for people to actually use **The business model:** the business model is sound and sustainable with in and out-money flow to at least generate enough revenue to sustain the startup **Growth mindset and strategy:** the startup has strong growth plan & mindset with realistic development roadmap and go-to-market strategies For the problem solving category, points will be given by juries based on correctness and creative solutions of participants. For frontend BOS and UX prize category, user friendly and creative design are main factors. For the Developer and BOS tools category, additionally usefulness and easy to use of tools are considered. For student track, the same above factors are considered but for students only to motivate the gen Z university students to learn, hack, and contribute to NEAR ecosystem For creative ideas, the creative design and applicable factors are main factors which motivate creative ideas to apply blockchain into different niche markets. **Funding request** : We request for the funding for hackathon prizes: **$50,000**
