Hackbox team is seeking a talented and experienced Hackathon Marketing Expert to join our team on a gig basis for 3 months. As a Hackathon Marketing Expert, you will play a crucial role in creating a marketing guide specifically tailored for hackathon hosts, defining marketing personas of the target audience (hackers), establishing an optimal tone of voice, and orchestrating a launch campaign for Hackbox itself. **What we would love you to do** * Develop a comprehensive marketing guide specifically aimed at hackathon hosts to ensure successful promotion and participation. * Define and identify marketing personas of the hackers who would be interested in participating in NEAR blockchain hackathons. [see this post for reference](https://near.social/#/devgovgigs.near/widget/gigs-board.pages.Post?id=557) * Establish an optimal tone of voice for all marketing materials to effectively engage and resonate with the target audience. * Collaborate with the team to create a launch campaign strategy for Hackbox, including content creation, social media promotion, and email marketing. * Conduct market research to identify potential marketing channels, partners, and influencers to maximize the reach and impact of the campaign. * Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to optimize effectiveness. **Desired skillset** * Proven experience and a strong track record in hackathon organization and marketing * In-depth knowledge of hackathon best practices, including participant recruitment, engagement strategies, and event promotion. * Familiarity with developer marketing and a solid understanding of the developer community landscape. * Proficient in market research and data analysis to drive informed marketing decisions. **How to Apply** Interested individuals should first familiarize themselves with DevDAO and the DevHub. Evaluation: The DevDAO team will review submissions on a weekly basis and schedule a call with you if there is a good fit. Approval: If we agree to move forward, we’ll ask you to create a solution post on DevHub outlining your proposed scope of work for four weeks, including the deliverables, timeline, and compensation amount in USDC. Upon acceptance, DevDAO will reply with a formal sponsorship (fast grant) to approve the funding, and work can begin. Please note funding is contingent on you passing our KYC.
