Lit Tech supports a wide range of marketing and business development initiatives for NEAR Protocol and its ecosystem. The team consists of previous NEAR Foundation employees and early contributors of the NEAR ecosystem. NEAR China is the community building arm under Lit Tech, which also operates the regional hub for all NEAR users and developers in China. The NEAR Chinese community is one of the largest communities in the NEAR ecosystem. Currently, we have approximately 10,000+ NEAR Telegram users (https://t.me/NEAR_China) and 1,000+ NEAR developers. One of our current focuses is onboarding new users and developers, as well as cultivating quality projects and teams in China to join building on NEAR Protocol. With this in mind, we're representing NEAR to sponsor and participate in the Rust China Conference to raise NEAR brand awareness, showcase growth of the NEAR ecosystem, as well as engage Rust developers and expand the NEAR developer community in China. We are also hosting a NEAR developer workshop during the event where we will promote BOS (Blockchain Operating System), Rust contract development, NEAR DevHub and NEAR account model to developers, builders, and creators in the region. 1. About Rust China Conference Rust China Conference 2023 is initiated and hosted by the Rust Chinese community, and co-organized by well-known enterprises and open source organizations. It is the largest and only Rust offline large-scale conference in China. Some well-known China based tech companies have already confirmed their attendance at the conference, including Huawei, FT Tech, Greptime DB, Stargraph, Cryptape, Dataverse etc. This conference is an offline conference, which will be held in Shanghai from June 17th to 18th. Our Past Experiences Lit Tech organized numerous programs and events that have helped NEAR to raise NEAR brand awareness, facilitate NEAR community growth, and promote NEAR to developers and builders. - 2023 Hong Kong Web3 Festival - Lit Tech coordinated with the Hong Kong Web3 Festival organizer and hosted a NEAR-themed side event with around 200 people participating. We successfully connected with local builder communities and student organizations with a total reach of ~15,000 people. ~ 50,000 offline participants attended Hong Kong Web3 Festival and ~ 22,000 users participated in our community campaigns (online and offline).
