All events take place online and are open to teams and individuals across the globe. Hackathon is split into 4 weeks with a Launch Event on May 30th, a Submission date on June 25th, and Grand Finale on July 12th. During all 4 weeks of the hackathon participating projects are provided with dedicated time slots to host project-specific workshops and office hours. About Aurora Labs: Aurora Labs is the technology company behind Aurora—the EVM blockchain that runs on the NEAR Protocol. We are also the developers of, and integration partner behind, Aurora Cloud—a suite of products that allow Web2 companies to capture the value of Web3. About Encode Club: Encode Club is a web3 education community learning and building together through fantastic programmes with the leading protocols in the space. Together we organise programmes like education series, bootcamps, hackathons, accelerators both online and in person. We then help our community get jobs and funding for projects and startups. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Hackathon attracted 150 teams and generated 51 qualified submissions for Aurora bounties, 14 submissions for BOS bounty and 11 for Metapool bounty. 3 winners of NEAR BOS bounty were awarded with $3000, $2000 and $1000 in $NEAR respectively) Projects were evaluated by DevHub contributors based on the general criteria for Encode x Aurora hackathon, and the quality of BOS integration.
