Some factors in our evaluation matrix include_ * **Code complexity & cleanliness:** Does the project’s component design patterns showcase a level of maturity? Are children components easy to run? Does their code run efficiently? Does their project showcase a level of technical complexity? * **Usefulness in NEAR ecosystem & likelihood for communities to fork**: is this something that is a primitive someone in the ecosystem would fork? Is this considered developer tooling or something that is infrastructure for BOS? Does the widget metadata include clear documentation for others to do so? * **Likelihood to continue project into BOS native product:** Is this a one time hackathon project or will they continue this into a public good the ecosystem needs? * **Originality of idea:** Is this a novel idea? Is this a use case that would bring external user adoption. If this is based on an idea suggested by an ideas list, how well did they execute the desired ideas.Does the project actually solve a pain point? * **Product / UX:** Does the project have compelling UX? Would a user know how to interact with it without a demo / explanation? Are components mobile responsive and accessible? * **For bounties::** The ability to tackle the bounty based on sponsor requirements. For Bounty Stackers: Is the project integrate multiple bounties in a streamlined/natural way or is it forced? * **Use of BOS:** Is it just one component? Does the project test the limits of BOS? Is there a clear demonstration on why they used BOS instead of a traditional front end framework? Did they deploy their own gateway? Were there customizations to the VM or PRs made? # Funding Request As mentioned before we are not requesting any funds for management and solely requesting funds from DevHub to fund general prize tracks. * $10,000 in Prizes to go directly to builders for general prize tracks. 💡 Additionally if DevHub would like to provide additional bounties for specific initiatives on top of general prizes to help DevHub specific initiatives. Examples of such may include. * $1k bounty for a BOS native hackathon platform * $500 bounties for the 3 best contributions to [BOS Documentation](https://docs.near.org/bos) * $1k bounty for the best builder who builds a solution on the [NEAR Devhub](https://neardevhub) platform # Additional Information As part of this we will be continuing workshops and daily office hours in the [Build DAO telegram](https://nearbuilders.com/tg-builders) and registration is on our hackathon gateway [BOSHACKS.com](http://BOSHACKS.com) powered by Shard Dog (email -> registration NFT -> redirect to telegram).
