This migration is fundamentally to all users that has locked their $META token and are active participant in Meta_pool governance. From April 15th to April 30th: Each user must migrate their $META locked positions to the new $mpDAO voting contract. This assigned period marks the actual beginning the token transition, as after the migration, user will be receiving 1 locked $mpDAO for every locked $META. To successful undergo this migration, you must : ⏩Have locked positions with your $META token ⏩You should be an active participant in meta_pool governance dApp with your voting powers. NOTE ❗If you have ongoing unlocking positions, you will be UNABLE TO MIGRATE. In this scenario you will have to re-lock your unlock positions for your migration to the successful. Also, make use of your voting power as it will help facilitate a smooth TOKEN MIGRATION. You should also know, after your migration , your old locked META and votes will still be valid until the end of April. Afterwards, the new governance token will be launched May 1st 2024, with liquidity both in Uniswap and ref finance. This dual characteristic of mpDAO will give raise a multi-chain governance approach in the second quarter of 2024. This outstanding feature will will be implemented in MetaPool Vote to Earn feature, which will allow mpDAO tokens on Ethereum Mainnet and near to vote on the Meta Pool DAO governance and earn the protocol fees simultaneously.
