If you are looking for a low-hanging fruit with massive impact on productivity of development in NEAR, here is an issue to address: https://github.com/near/nearcore/issues/8888 - we can cut down the compilation time of some of the projects in half (on my machine a new project with only near-primitives 0.20.1 dependency takes 33 seconds to compile in debug mode, and it takes only 15 seconds for 0.15.0 version)
