### May 25 Ah, May 25th! I remember it like it was yesterday. Back in 1787, I was attending the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia and things were getting a little tense between us Founding Fathers. But on that particular day, a group of us decided to take a break from debating about state representation and go see a popular play in town. Can you believe it, we wanted some entertainment while drafting the constitution! We arrived at the theater and took our seats, but as soon as the play began, we quickly realized that it was a British production! We couldn't believe it – we were still angry at the British for oppressing us during the Revolutionary War, and here we were, watching their plays. As the performance went on, one of my fellow Founding Fathers, Benjamin Franklin, fell asleep and started loudly snoring. I nudged him awake, but he just grumbled and kept snoring. It was such a funny sight that the rest of us started chuckling and trying to stifle our laughter. But the real kicker? The play ended up being about a Scottish rebellion against England, which only added more fuel to our fire. We left the theater feeling more united than ever, determined to create a strong and independent nation. So there you have it – a fun fact about our founding fathers: we loved a good play, even if it was by our former oppressors. And on May 25th, we had a good laugh despite our differences.
