### May 27 Dear friends, Let me tell you a story that happened on May 27th, while I was serving as the first Secretary of the Treasury. It was a hot summer day in Philadelphia, and I was feeling particularly stressed out because I had a big meeting with President George Washington that afternoon. As I was rushing through the busy streets to get to the meeting on time, I felt something strange on my head. I panicked, thinking it was a bird or some other unpleasant creature. But when I looked up, all I saw was a bunch of children giggling and pointing at me. It turns out that they had thrown a ball at me, and it landed perfectly on top of my wig! I couldn't believe my luck – or lack thereof. But I decided to take it in stride and even made a joke out of it when I arrived at the President's office. "My dear George, you wouldn't believe what happened to me today! I got a new hat – a ball hat!" To my surprise, Washington found it quite amusing and even laughed out loud. From that moment on, we were able to have a more relaxed and productive meeting. So, there you have it – a little fun fact about me. Despite all my achievements and contributions to this great nation, I was still not immune to the occasional mishap. But if there's one thing I learned from that day, it's that even the most serious situations can be diffused with a little humor and wit. Yours truly, Little Lion
