The surge in NEAR staking led to increased fees, expanding the grant budget and encouraging continued community participation. Transparency is emphasized with a new section in Meta Pool documentation providing a complete list of mpDAO grantees and detailed reports.The upcoming mpDAO Grants #6 in February 2024 invites applicants to prepare submissions for community voting. Community incentives include Governance rewards and early access to the Q Network, reinforcing Meta Pool's commitment to user engagement. GG18 showcased 14 impactful projects, from educational initiatives to social and environmental impact programs, emphasizing Meta Pool's contribution to positive change. Meta Pool's commitment to the future includes prioritizing assistance to emerging markets and supporting growth in the web3 ecosystem. 2023 highlights include successful events, partnerships, and integrations across NEAR, Aurora, Ethereum, and Q Blockchain, showcasing continuous growth. Looking forward to 2024, Meta Pool plans to focus on the Global Chinese community, postponing involvement in Gitcoin Grants 19 (GG19) and aiming for a meaningful contribution in GG20. Despite challenges, Meta Pool expresses gratitude for community support and invites stakeholders to stake and share in the ongoing success.
