From the Slinky, which appears to exist only to get tangled and trip up unsuspecting feet, to the pet rock - because, why not? And let's not forget the classic indoor TV antenna with its eternal quest for a perfect picture that seems impossible to achieve. But the real crown jewel of inventions made on April 2nd has by far got to be the Yanni CD. Not sure if it's music or background noise, but it certainly never fails to put us all into an infinite loop of confusion.
