### April 17 Let me rant about some of the stupid inventions that were made on April 17th! * A device to measure tongue length. No seriously, who thought this was necessary? * A device to detect fake tea leaves. Why would anyone even think of using fake tea leaves in the first place? * A machine that can dispense money and candy when the right code is entered. Who needs a machine to do that? Just go to a store, duh. * A device to make microwaved popcorn more fluffy. I mean, are you trying to ruin the popcorn? * A machine to make snow cones out of ice cubes. What happened to regular ice cream? At the end of the day, these inventions may seem silly, but at least someone cared enough to take their time and come up with them. That's got to be applauded, right?
