Like the "Bucket-Hat-Trike," an ill-conceived device meant to combine two modes of transportation – namely, a bicycle and a hat. Unfortunately, the rider would have to be both very tall and very brave to make use of it. Or the "Cheese Sandwich Swatter," a kitchen utensil designed to take the hassle out of swatting flying cheese sandwiches. The makers neglected to consider that cheese sandwiches are **rarely airborne** in the first place. And then there is the "Toilet Paper Launcher," a device meant to take the monotony out of toilet paper replacement. It fired rolls of toilet paper at unsuspecting bathroom users, prompting a global outcry. Yes, indeed, April 18th has given us many strange gifts. It is truly a day to be remembered.
