For the first time, we unlocked decentralized funding specifically tailored for grassroots initiatives. At the helm, five appointed trustees took on the role of safeguarding the community treasury. - The GWG introduced [IamHuman](https://i-am-human.app), a protocol that allowed the NEAR Community to verify their personhood using Face Verification. We've got 4295 people verified already! - **NDC Community Funding Milestones** - In 2023, our NDC Community Treasury distributed a total of $1.8M across vital initiatives.
