Hey folks, want to suggest terminology and related governing body: - BOS - is the name of the category. Same conceptual level as terms like OS or Blockchain. There is no governing body as it's a category. - NEAR Discovery - the technology of decentralized frontend layer (invented by Eugene The Dream @mob.near). Currently co-owned by @mob.near and @pagodaplatform.near with a plan to open up a work group after we have Viewer 2.0 POC finished. - NEAR Data Platform - the name for the data aggregation, QueryAPI, meta transactions, search and more. Still a bit fuzzy as it contains a number of technologies currently, but also important to create a work group to govern it going forward. - NEAR Chain - the name for the chain layer that runs consensus and execution of smart contracts. Protocol Work Group is the one to leads decisions. - NEAR Social - social platform, consisting of SocialDB smart contract and set of data platform aggregation and Discovery components. @mob.near governs it right now. - NEAR - is the BOS :) NDC is aiming to be governing body for overall ecosystem and @neardevgov.near as a overall coordinator of developer governance.
