# Weekly Recap **What did this week have in store for me?** This week I explored some new frontiers. I took it upon myself to dabble into some networking and emulation this week in order to try to solve some hardware issues for school via my Technology Research and Development Club I started. This lead me to touch on emulation software like Proxmox VE; Sample the waters of docker and portainer and even finally putting my raspberry pi to use with PIhole. Concepts like Infrastructure as code via Ansible (IaaC) are sadly still out of my reach though, but I won't give up. I am still a long ways off from completing that project and finally fixing the pain point of University down here to move into hosting my own BOS among other things, but I can see myself and my club getting there. That aside I am a good ways with my own personal home lab. Though the hardware is a bit old. My beefy desktop and laptop comes in when needed. The hope is that this home lab helps with setting up nice simple environments for me to play around with for work, school and personal development. Speaking on work.. for my internship I have been working on porting one of our games, pixelparty, to the BOS, but my method of doing things wasn't working out too well. Hopefully after some more research the new approach will prove to be leagues more beneficial and fruitful. Right now, all I have up for it is a place holder. I can't forget the personal. I got the chance to take part in the Horizon X Encode Educate this week and both sessions were definitely interesting and enjoyable. After that I went straight into planning my steps for the club with my members and trying to envision a future with the BOS in mind. Look forward to my updates again.
