Recap: This post is a bit late but last week was quite a hectic week for me and this week is no different. I found out I got recommended by my school guild for an internship and had to do a lot of last minute prep work while still sorting out some stuff for my current internship and personal life. This week I started the internship and it has been going well so far. I am interning at a credit union in Antigua and Barbuda in the IT department. It's pretty cool how I keep getting closer and closer to working in the financial industry, whether on or off of the blockchain. For my internship this week I focused mainly on my credit union internship since it is the first week and I had a lot to learn. I really learned a good deal about networking and how financial institutions handle a lot of technical infrastructure. It's cool knowledge to learn and practice. In some ways, it has even opened my eyes more to the blockchain and why a lot of persons are interested in it. My internship for Bac inc. has been going well so far still. I have run into a few issues of my own in development that I just haven't gotten the time to sort out as of yet, but with tomorrow hopefully being more free I'll be able to do so I can cement this months report with nothing, but excellence. Last week I was working on the widgets new design and this week I started working on implementing what I was studying with the blockchain and BOS API, but I have come to realize that I may just be confusing myself too much with the concepts and their implementation. I am hoping to clarify those information tonight in our meeting though. I have also been looking forward to a lot of the activities on the BOS, but things are getting so hectic IRL right now. Sigh, so many opportunities gone to waste. I will try to get back to being more active now that my first week of work is up and I have gotten a hang of the flow. I look forward to seeing the continued work on the blockchain and getting back accustomed to participating more. Completed last week: - Widget Theory - Studying and practicing the content in the Docs - Attending a few Educational series and preparing to spin up my own BOS Gateway.
