Hello everyone! Firstly, I want to thank all 315 people who voted for me and my [program](https://near.org/nomination.ndctools.near/widget/NDC.Nomination.Candidate.Page?house=HouseOfMerit&accountId=whendacha.near) 🩷 It was quite a difficult week; firstly, we set up communications inside the HOM 😅. I and other members like @dk_51.near initiated establishing contacts with the Grassroots DAOs. Most of them provided charters and budgets, which we will discuss shortly. I paid particular attention to Degens, Freelance teams, Regional, Global, and LATAM DAOs. I had several calls where we discussed further development and the evolution of the regional community. Challenges that we have in HOM: 1. Lack of effective communication, though I believe this will improve over time; 2. Not all members fully comprehend their roles and responsibilities for thousands of people in the Ecosystem; 3. We need to be consistent but fast; every delay adds more issues and questions; 4. Unfortunately, not all members of NDC bodies understand the top priority in unlocking community funding; 5. Issues with transitioning operations from v0 to V1; 6. HOM continues to wait for a vision from the Council of Advisors. Positive things: 1. We worked with the community over the last two months to prepare our actions for the following quarter. Because of this, we can launch new processes faster; 2. Regardless of some issues, we were able to draft the budget to discuss with CoA. 3. We've elected a Speaker and PoC (Point of Contact). I'm glad to see an experienced community and great Near contributor @kiskesis.near in the role. I will serve as a Point of Contact. I would say thanks thanks to HoM and other Houses members, and individual Community members, @kiskesis.near, @dk_51.near, @rexus.near, @iamanansari.near, @cizi31.near,@derymars.near, @igboze_builder.near, the LATAM DAO community (@vianftbrasil.near, @fritzwagner.near, @frado.near, @ramgor.near), @krikkraktrak.near, @chloe.near, @johanga108.near, ser AVB and other for outstanding work. Thanks to the Transparency Commission (TC). As far as I know, councils are working on updating the code of conduct and drafting other vital paperwork. My priority for October is unlocking funding for the Community. I hope other HOM members will support this initiative. Next week, we will have a call with the NDC trustees. I want to inform you regularly about what's happening so you understand the current status or who are the current blockers of HOM and Community. As always, I'm open to community initiatives. Please write to me if you have questions, complaints, or suggestions. You can also contact me anonymously at whendacha@gmail.com. I will work with your requests and report the results publicly. Have a wonderful week!
