### Update for Weeks 42-44 --- ##### New 'Research Topics' Page Created a simple 'Research Topics' page which showcases the research topics selected by NCR students. Allowing our community to see the diversity of research interests and expertise being cultivated within the Near Certified Researcher course. Clicking on students profile currently doesn't work, I will need to fix that this upcoming week as well as adding more students and their topics to the page. ##### Guest Lecturers Featured on 'Mentors' Page In an effort to acknowledge the contributions of our guest lecturers, I have updated the 'mentors' page. This page now features profiles of the guest lecturers who are imparting their knowledge and experience to our students. Their inclusion on this page reflects our appreciation for their invaluable participation. The mentors page currently has the same issue as the research topics page and will be fixed shortly. ##### Council Quorum Updated to 50% The council quorum has been raised to 50%. This change means that now, 2/3 council members are required to approve proposals on the [DAO](https://research-collective.near.social/). This adjustment aims to foster more consensus and collective decision-making within our governance processes. ##### Funding Bill Enhanced for Clarity and Alignment The NCR [funding bill](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-D1SINIWI40uFSbsqUo5QGKQvqgKpVxG0OhS5NhoQ3U/edit?usp=sharing) has undergone revisions to enhance its detail and ensure its alignment with the HoM key metrics. This document will still need some updates this next week before being submitted.
