# NEAR Research Collective DAO | XVII council report | March 2024 Dear members of the NEAR Research Collective community, I am pleased to provide an overview of my activities as a council member for the month of March 2024. It has been a dynamic and productive month marked by significant progress towards our shared objectives. 1. **Enhancements to NEAR Certified Researcher Course Page:** - In my ongoing efforts to optimize the user experience and accessibility of the NEAR Certified Researcher course, I have implemented several updates to the [resources tab](https://near.social/xvii.near/widget/NCR.Index?tab=resources) of the course page. Notable improvements include grouping lessons into expandable modules, enhancing navigation and organization for course participants. As well as adding the NDC to the sponsor's list on the home page. 2. **Launch of Research Grants for Alumni:** - I am delighted to announce the successful launch of our first round of research grants specifically tailored for alumni of the NCR course. These grants serve as a testament to our commitment to supporting continued learning, innovation, and collaboration within our community. By providing alumni with resources and opportunities to pursue research projects, we aim to foster a culture of lifelong learning and knowledge sharing. 3. **Continued Regular Activities:** - Throughout March, I have maintained my commitment to core operational activities essential for the smooth functioning of the NEAR Research Collective. This includes drafting proposals and budgets, actively participating in voting processes, and leading or contributing to our weekly insights forum. By collaborating closely with fellow council members (@hannah17.near, @earnestetim.near), facilitators(@chloe.near, @bheegem.near, @15870c8972a9fe6cdb7dfc2df835740108e8674cc170a091cd0ece0b9e4f6cfa), and community members, we ensure that our initiatives align with the collective vision and objectives of the DAO. Thank you for your continued support and participation. Warm regards, XVII Council Member, NEAR Research Collective DAO
