# NEAR Research Collective DAO | XVII council report | April 2024 Dear members of the NEAR Research Collective community, I am pleased to provide an overview of my activities and contributions as a council member for the month of April 2024. It has been another productive month marked by progress towards our collective goals and ongoing engagement with our community. **Enhancements to NEAR Certified Researcher Course Page:** - In an effort to improve the user experience of the NEAR Certified Researcher course page, I have made updates to the [people tab](https://near.social/xvii.near/widget/NCR.Index?tab=people) along with other minor bug fixes. Specifically, I have ensured that the full number of registered students is now loaded, providing a more accurate representation of course registrations. However, it is worth noting that there remains an issue with double counting accounts for students who claimed the registration NFT twice. This is an area that we will continue to address to ensure the integrity of our course metrics. **Continued Regular Activities:** - Throughout April, I have remained actively involved in core operational activities essential for the functioning of the NEAR Research Collective. This includes drafting proposals and budgets, participating in voting processes, and contributing to our [weekly insights forum](https://marmaj.org/events/near-research-collective-weekly-insights-forum/). I have also continued to collaborate closely with fellow council members (@hannah17.near, @earnestetim.near), facilitators (@chloe.near, @bheegem.near, @15870c8972a9fe6cdb7dfc2df835740108e8674cc170a091cd0ece0b9e4f6cfa), and community members, working together to advance our collective mission and objectives. In conclusion, April has been a month of ongoing dedication and progress within the NEAR Research Collective. The enhancements to our course page and continued engagement in regular activities reflect our commitment to transparency, accountability, and community collaboration. Thank you for your continued support and participation. XVII Council Member, NEAR Research Collective DAO
