Whisper is a very high-impact charity, registered in the UK and Czech Republic, that runs a children’s hospital, a maternity unit, an ambulance service and a nursing school, all in Jinja, Uganda. $28 in donations treats a patient and we estimate that $363 saves a life that would not otherwise have been saved; see our website for details. We can make good use of donations of any size, and we own land where some day we would like to build a new purpose-built hospital.
