Cannabis Genome DAO (CGD) started with an idea to connect cannabis growers with scientists and clinicians who can benefit by using the data growers collect. We're building an open source data-NFT marketplace governed by a DAO using an innovative reputation-weighted voting protocol. We believe account abstraction and a stepwise onboarding process that teaches users to progressively self-custody private keys enabled by NEAR are the best way to achieve our mission of unlocking cannabis data. Science and human knowledge are the ultimate public good. Through iterative consent based communication we will collaborate to create collective benefit aligned with individual interests. By unlocking data we can accelerate the development of new therapeutic applications for this ancient yet still underexplored traditional medicine.
